I'm Allan, but I go by the name Infy in the music world. I'm 18yo, I'm French and one of of my dreams is to make music, especially Hard Music (Hardstyle, Hardcore, Frenchcore, along other genres ^^ ). And this year, It's the year I start! Just got my Launchpad MK2 after years of dreaming of it, and I'm trying to figure out every facet of it, that's why I'm here!
See ya later!
My name's Lân - call me Alias .
My team has already developed an app/game about LaunchPad, however, I didn't know anything about LaunchPad.
That is the reason why I'm here, to learn from all of you - the LaunchPad-ers to help myself understand more about it, can play it in the perfect way and help my team improve their product
Hope to hear from all of you . Thanks!]]>
I'm ItzProMusic (If you already know me it's probably because of either my shitty Seven Lions Mashup Remake or me taking over the Chris Rinaldi channel and trying to delete all the videos).
I've been making Launchpad videos for a bit over a year now. (Just search ItzProMusic)
I ain't one of those irritating kids who get a Launchpad MK2 to play Alan Walker or some shit. I put a lot of time into my work.
So I hope I stay here long, seeya around!]]>
I used to be on this forum in 2014-2016 but when my Launchpad Mini broke again, I left.
However I recently got a MK2 and also Ableton 10 came out 2 days ago so I decided, what if I came back?
I am excited to make many new covers and original pieces and I hope you all enjoy them!
I'm just teaching myself piano and music and am learning all about MIDI controllers.
I have the LaunchPad Mini and just discovered the Launch Arcade today.
The mini works on Arcade and Apple Logic Pro X, but I hope they bring the LaunchPad app to the Mac eventually
Here's my first attempt at Logic and samples
It's Chris (dj Cynex) the creator of launchpaddr.com
I've been out of the loop for a bit, as I've had a career change into software/video game/vr development (prev web dev). As such, launchpaddr needed to take a back seat for a while so I could get up to speed, but recently I've been getting more and more emails from launchpad users asking for more... more devices, more options, more than one launchpad connected, etc. As such, I started exploring what I could do to get beyond this point.
Launchpaddr.com was great for what it is, a web page with midi connectivity, and allowed you to export a midi file. but supporting multiple devices / layouts and I/O settings would mean a large chunk would have to be re-written. Bear in mind, the tool was made for the original MK1. Over time I supported the MK2, as Focusrite / Novation graciously sent me one to develop on. I was not in a position to get a lpPRO at that time, but I did what I could to support what I had.
Now that I have a fair deal of unity experience, I've been re-writing the launchpaddr.com site in C# / unity, as it seems to be the best fit, being multi-platform deploy-able.
The alpha stage version is available on launchpaddr.com now, and it's extrememely limited, but it shows i/o connectivity across multiple devices and has some built in animations to help test the speed / rate of midi transfers. I'm looking at minimum a few months to develop this, as well as some hardware / software licensing costs and as such I've started a funding page to help alleviate that.
Launchpad Pro is supported in this alpha version as well, over time I will bring that knowledge back into launchpaddr.com as I would like the software and website to work together, so users can publish and share their work.
