I have a LaunchPad MK2 running on ableton live 10 lite]]>
So I got my new Launchpad two days ago, so far no problem with the product itself. I only got problems with the software. First I had Ableton Live 10 but then I went back to Live 9 because I thought this would resolve my problem, but no. Long story short: I have to authorize Live again every time I open a new project file or when I start the software. I don't know if the save feature is included in Lite too, because I need it to repair a project file I got on the web.
Does someone know if I can register Live Lite definitively?
Thanks in advance!]]>
As you see they are blinking and lagging (in every project files and effects created by me)
So lightshows like there look awful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS6KpSE8qGM
% processor usage if effect is runnng: 5-20%
% RAM usage if Ableton is running: 40%
-Intel Core i7-4500U
-RAM 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz
-AMD Radeon HD 8850M+ Intel HD Graphics 4400
-Install, uninstall and update other version of Ableton Live (9 Lite, 10 Suite, 10 Trial)
-Update drivers in Windows Device manager
-Update Launchpad using Novation firmware updater (it got worst)
-Install ASIO4ALL drivers
-Update and change the operating system (Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 that i'm already using)
-Change USB port(3.0)
-Install USB Drivers
-Change USB cable
I tried to run effects like that with Unipad using my smartphone and they work fine
I hope someone can help me with this problem]]>
EDIT: I have since found that by dragging and dropping the individual light effects into the Midi Extension device, it will work, but is there an easier, less-time consuming solution than this?]]>
I have been owning a bunch of midi controllers ( including a launchpad pro ) for several years now, and I just recently changed the PC on which I run Ableton. The issue that I'm running into is that I have to deal with an unbearable latency while performing with these controllers, despite the fact that I use ASIO drivers, that I have reduced buffer size to the minimum and that I adjusted driver compensation so that Ableton tells me that I only have 0.60 ms of latency. However, I can clearly feel that the latency I'm experiencing is way above this value. Do you guys have any idea of what I could possibly do?
I'm running ableton on a 2018 Surface Book 2 with 8 Go of RAM
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this]]>
I want to do a cover of anime songs but I want to know how.Indeed, I've seen many cover but I want to know how to do that. I imagine it's not easier than to cut a song in many parts and associate these parts on button. I would like to have a tutorial if you have or many explications and tips
Despite the facts that :
The MK2 is full of colors when it wakes up
My seetings (preferences) are correctly managed with mk2 and input output remote and so on...
I'm uploading and using a complete Set Live on our website ! (LUKE-delo-op fresh)
And even if my MK2 is Up to date.....(version 171)
IT'S ABSOLUTLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO GET ANY FEEDBACK Midi Light ....=(
HEEEEEELP MEEEE Please
Cheers and thank you (from france)]]>
Thank you for stopping by to help me. Im pretty new to Launchpad and to music production in genarel, but I have a question regarding learning to play premade projects.
If I want to download a project (to play on my Launchpad) is there any way that I could learn how to play it besides watching the performance a thousand times? I mean is there any easy way to see the button squence of the project that I need to press?
Hope that makes sense, thank you again!
Just wondering what the current status is with Exige's Midi Extension with Max 8 and Ableton 10.
Currently, when I load the save file the drum rack/'midi extension' does not auto load in the midi files.
Was looking at uninstalling Max 8 and installing 6 instead if that's where the problem lies, but not sure if Max 8 is not built in within Ableton since there is no Max application in the 'applications' folder in Mac anymore.
Thanks a lot guys]]>
Im new to the forum and i really need help.
Recently i bought Launchpad Pro for my son.
Its 50% working i can say.
He can play music but the lights don't work.
I was trying popular projects like Alan Walker 'Alone' or The Chainsmokers 'Don't Let Me Down'.
In none of this projects lights work. In any other projects.
I was doing everything with instructions from the projects and nothing works.
I'm using Ableton 9.7.2 + Max For Live.
Maybe its a problem of Ableton version?
Or maybe something else?
Please help me. Really out of options
Thanks in advance
I'm currently using the Launchpad Pro in conjunction with QLab 4 (by Figure 53) and it's cue cart feature. The function is to use the Launchpad as a Midi controller to send a MIDI Note On signal to the program in order to trigger a sound effect. This is all done through Programmer mode, but could potentially work in the other modes too.
Now the MIDI triggering and sound effects work fine however I'm trying to program the lights so that visually I can organize the board and identify which button is what sound effect. I see a lot of tutorials to program light shows through Ableton Live however I'm not looking to design something for an audience. I just want to be able to configure the lights to glow green to indicate i have my "lighting" sound effects on them, and when I hit the button it'll turn red to indicate that a signal was sent to the program, then turn green again.
Now I've seen some posts that suggest using http://launchpaddr.com/ which works and lets me light up the buttons. However the main issue is that it only works when I have the window open on their site. I also saw the github file for Lightpad the MacOS beta app to configure lights however editing colors is kind of a pain but also the main purpose seems to be for lightshow programming.
Are there any suggestions for programming the lights?]]>
